SBI Secures Land in Bharat Future City for New Data Centre

The Telangana government has allotted a 10-acre land parcel at Meerkhanpet in Bharat Future City (BFC) to the State Bank of India (SBI) for its upcoming data centre. This follows the resolution of previous land allocation matters at Raidurg.

SBI joins a rapidly expanding hub of tech infrastructure in BFC, which already features major investments, including:

Amazon Web Services (AWS): Construction underway for a flagship data centre.

HyperVault (TCS subsidiary): A 1 GW AI data centre campus backed by a ₹70,000 crore investment.

CtrlS: Developing a massive 2 GW AI data centre facility.

Fortune Hospitality: Planning a 170-acre hyperscale AI park in Kandukur.

Regional connectivity is also getting a major boost through the proposed Ratan Tata greenfield road and Greenfield Radial Road-1.
